Individual Therapy

Maybe you’re struggling with daily anxiety, you’re stressed about your relationships, or you feel like there must be more to life than struggling. You might have tried therapy before, and have been told you have great insight, but you still feel stuck.

You’re in the right place. My clients often express frustration that past therapy has helped them understand things more but hasn’t helped them change their day to day lives or decrease anxiety, emotional flashbacks, or other concerns. I offer weekly and biweekly individual therapy for individuals wanting to take the next step.

Individual Therapy FAQs

  • Individual sessions last about 50-minutes. A first session, or intake session, focuses primarily on what brings you to therapy, your goals, and relevant history. In subsequent sessions, we will make an individualized treatment plan to address your specific needs and goals. Sessions will vary person to person but tend to be focused on guided exploration, brief experiential exercises, and emotional processing. We will recap at the end of sessions and create a plan for the next.

  • Individual weekly therapy sessions allow for us to work on how concerns are showing up in your life now, as the weekly model gives us information as we apply different practices and approaches in your life. We get direct feedback from your day to day experience to explore in therapy, and this allows therapy to be truly tailored to your life and experience. As clients feel more confident, they often "drop down" to biweeky or monthly sessions for continued support.

  • With these sessions, you receive treatment tailored to your unique needs. This holistic approach incorporates day-to-day struggles as well as underlying issues, which leads to lasting healing that allows you to feel more satisfied and to participate in your life more fully. All treatment is rooted in my expertise in trauma, anxiety, and more.

  • Individual psychotherapy sessions are about 50-minutes long and include a customized treatment plan specific to your needs and goals.

    Individual sessions are $200/session, and may be eligible for partial reimbursement using out-of-network benefits.
